About the role

Lumina Finishes is looking for a motivated and Experienced Powder Coating Sprayer to join our brand-new set-up in Perth (Welshpool). The successful candidate will be responsible for powder coating a range of architectural aluminium profiles, windows, doors, screens, balustrades, gates, fencing and fabricated metal products, while maintaining a high standard of finish and quality.

Key responsibilities
Prepare aluminium and metal components for powder coating.
Operate powder coating spray guns and associated equipment.
Apply powder coating evenly and accurately according to specifications.
Ensure correct coating thickness, coverage, colour and finish.
Hang and position components correctly for coating.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Assist with pre-treatment, masking, cleaning and preparation processes.
Maintain clean and organised work areas and powder coating equipment.
Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Handle powder coating materials and equipment safely and efficiently.

About you




Previous experience in powder coating or a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience using powder coating spray equipment is highly desirable.
Good understanding of surface preparation and powder coating processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle coating components safely.
