Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team.

This is a excellent prospect to work in a busy, hands-on precast concrete environment with a professional team. We offer the opportunity for ongoing work and to further develop your skills across formwork, concrete and precast manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:
Setting up, constructing and dismantling timber and steel formwork.
Reading and interpreting IFC, shop and construction drawings.
Assisting with steel reinforcement and mesh installation.
Concrete pouring, placement, vibrating and screeding.
Concrete finishing and patching.
Forming and finishing precast concrete panels and elements.
Operating hand and power tools.
Operating trowel machines, including ride-on machines, where required.
Assisting with large concrete pours and general concrete works.
Site preparation,



clean-up and maintaining a safe and tidy work workplace.
Following all workplace health and safety procedures.

Skill & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in precast, concrete, formwork, civil construction or a similar role.
Experience with concrete pouring, screeding and finishing.
Ability to read and interpret construction, IFC or shop drawings.
Steel fixing and reinforcement experience is an advantage.
Competent with hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
Positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Current White Card – mandatory.
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.
