About the role

Curate creative visual merchandising to increase walk-ins, create brand awareness and sales conversions. Create a positive and fulfilling shopping experience for customers through visual merchandising and display. Employ visual merchandising principles to meet budget targets and drive sales targets and profitability through effective design and visual merchandising.

Key responsibilities
Prepare VM packs including details of each item's features and benefits
Prepare fortnightly VM directives for the retail store team including sale and promo set ups
Manage Myer/DJ's ticketing library and communicate with store teams
Work with the merchandise manager to ensure optimal stock levels at a store level
Coach the retail team to achieve Brand Visual Merchandising Standards
Assess and gauge the effectiveness of visual merchandise displays in each location and update as required
Monitor store inventory and ensure merchandise is displayed effectively
Ensure a safe work workplace and provide outstanding customer service as a visual merchandising specialist




Monitor costs for projects and ensure visual merchandising stays within proposed budgets
Install and set up displays as required
Oversee any recent store set ups, refurbishment, relocations or exits

About you
Outstanding creative, design, and analytical skills
A minimum of 3 years previous experience as a visual merchandiser, or experience working in a merchandising team
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Have a passion for merchandising and attention to detail
Experience working with the retail sales team
Experience working within a concession business
Excellent customer service skills
Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle for travel
