Company Description Kids and Cubs Clinic is a paediatric speech pathology practice in Sydney that provides assessment and therapy services for children aged 0–16 years. The clinic supports children with receptive and expressive language needs, late talking, speech sound delays, stuttering, and fussy eating. Services also extend to reading and writing challenges and a broad range of communication needs.

Role Description The Speech Pathologist will provide full time, on-site assessment and therapy services at the Kids and Cubs Clinic in Balmain, NSW. Travel to local preschools and schools for individual or group services may also be included. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering therapy to children with a variety of communication and developmental needs.
The role involves documenting progress, preparing reports,
and communicating outcomes and strategies to caregivers and other professionals.
The Speech
Pathologist will collaborate with the clinic team to ensure consistent, evidence-based care and contribute to service development. Participation in professional development activities and occasional community or school-based liaison may also be required.
Qualifications
Competence in assessing and treating communication disorders such as Language Disorders, Speech Sound Disorders, Stuttering, or Literacy difficulties
.
Tertiary degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent, with eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Experience or robust interest in paediatric practice, working with children aged 0–16 years and their families.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing career development, and ethical, inclusive care.
Ability to manage a clinical caseload, maintain accurate documentation, and work autonomously on-site.
Current Working With Children Check and other relevant clearances as required in NSW.
