About the role

You will manage your own portfolio of SME clients, acting as their day-to-day adviser across compliance, reporting and advisory work.

Key responsibilities
Day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction processing
Payroll and associated compliance, including STP, PAYG and superannuation
Preparation and lodgement of BAS and GST
Month-end support and client reporting
Cloud accounting across Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
Direct client engagement, from routine queries through to proactive advisory conversations
Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior and intermediate accountants

About you
CA or CPA qualified
Experience gained in public practice or a business services setting
Confident communicator who is comfortable dealing directly with business owners
High attention to detail, with the initiative to run your own portfolio autonomously




Able to prioritise and manage competing deadlines across multiple clients
