Role Description The Retail Sales Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based at OBriens Clothing Co in Salter Point, WA. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized styling and product recommendations.

The Retail Sales

Assistant will manage point-of-sale transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain store presentation, including merchandising and stock replenishment. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring a high standard of customer service, supporting promotional activities, and contributing to sales targets.



The role also requires working collaboratively with the store team to create an inviting, professional, and fashion-forward environment.

Qualifications
Solid Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with a focus on building rapport and long-term relationships.
Effective Communication skills, including transparent verbal communication and active listening.
Proven abilities in Retail Sales and Sales, including meeting or exceeding individual and store targets.
Attention to detail in merchandising, stock handling, and store presentation.
Ability to work on-site, including weekends and peak retail periods, as part of a team-oriented setting.
Previous experience in fashion retail or boutique environments is highly regarded.
Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system skills.
Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a genuine interest in fashion and customer care.
