About the role

As a Personal Care Worker, you'll provide direct, hands-on personal care to NDIS participants, in line with their individual support plans, always respecting their dignity, privacy and right to choice and control over their own care.

What you'll be doing
Assisting with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing and grooming
Supporting dressing and personal presentation
Providing toileting and continence support
Assisting with mobility and secure transfers
Supporting eating and drinking, where required
Providing medication assistance or administration where trained and authorised
Maintaining participant dignity, privacy, choice and comfort throughout every task
Completing accurate, timely documentation after each shift

What we're looking for
Genuine compassion, patience and respect for people's dignity and independence




Current (or willingness to obtain) NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check, where applicable
National Police Check, where required
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Manual handling training, or willingness to complete it
Valid driver's licence, plus a registered and insured vehicle, where driving is required
