About the role

Join our dedicated medals team and help preserve the legacy of service members and their families. As a Service Medal Mounting specialist, you'll work with original military medals and create beautiful replicas, providing customers with impeccably mounted medals that celebrate the achievements and memories of their loved ones. This is a unique chance to combine your sewing skills with meaningful work in a supportive and friendly environment.

Full training on medal mounting techniques will be provided.

Key responsibilities
Restoring original service medals following strict safekeeping practices for these valuable items
Creating medal groups and mounting them to skilled standards
Completing ribbon replacements and ribbon bar creation
Expanding your knowledge of specialised medal mounting practices and techniques
Working to deadlines,



particularly during busy periods leading up to ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day

About you
Strong sewing skills, particularly hand sewing, alterations or other detailed textile work
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finished work
Good manual dexterity and ability to undertake precise, repetitive work
Ability to follow established processes and work accurately
Ability to meet deadlines during busy periods
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a small team
Previous medal mounting experience (desirable)
