About the role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Sales Operations Officer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an international company where you will play a key role in supporting our sales operations and ensuring excellent customer service. Working closely with our Sales, Warehouse, and Administration teams, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory, logistics, customer communication, and liaison with our head office in Japan.

As part of this role, you will use both English and Japanese on a daily basis when communicating with customers, suppliers, and our head office in Japan.

Key responsibilities
Manage inventory and monitor stock availability.
Coordinate domestic and international logistics.
Liaise with our head office in Japan regarding orders, shipments, and operational matters.
Communicate with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and general enquiries.
Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure productive order processing and customer support.
Prepare reports and maintain sales-related data.
Perform general sales administration and other related duties as required.

About you




Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (Working Holiday Visa holders are not eligible).
Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in Sales Administration, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management (desirable).
Experience in logistics and inventory management (desirable).
Experience working in an international business environment (desirable).
