Workforce International is currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and hands-on Traffic Controller/Labourer to join our valued government client. This is a fantastic chance for someone who enjoys practical work, working outdoors and being part of a supportive team.

Candidates must be based in or around Hay and be willing and able to travel and work away from home for periods of up to 7–10 days at a time, including potential night work as required.

What you'll be doing:
Prepare, clean and maintain vehicles to a high standard
Assist with the protected loading and unloading of trucks
Operate vans and undertake vehicle escort duties as required
Safely transport vehicles to and from designated work sites
Complete a variety of general labouring and manual handling tasks
Carry out traffic control activities while maintaining a strong focus on site safety




Assist with day-to-day operations across the yard and work sites, working collaboratively with the wider team

What you need:
Traffic Control Ticket (essential)
Current Car Licence (essential)
Workers on Foot (essential)
Truck Licence (preferred)
Forklift Licence (highly regarded)

We’re looking for reliable and punctual candidates who are physically fit, comfortable with hands-on work, and enjoy working outdoors and around vehicles. You’ll need to be safety-conscious, able to follow instructions and procedures, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work. A positive attitude, robust work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
