About the role

This is a specialist tarp-welding role for the upcoming grain season. Your primary responsibility will be welding and repairing grain bunker tarps, while other team members manage the general preparation and construction of the bunkers. The position will commence around mid-October and continue for approximately two to three months, depending on seasonal requirements.

Key responsibilities
Welding grain bunker tarps
Producing robust, reliable seams and joins
Repairing holes, tears and damaged sections
Cutting and positioning tarp material as required
Checking completed welds for strength and quality
Operating and maintaining tarp-welding equipment
Working safely and efficiently alongside the grain operations team

About you




Be a proficient and experienced tarp welder
Have previous experience within the grain industry
Have experience working with grain bunker tarps
Produce consistent, high-quality welding and repair work
Be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work well within a team
Be physically capable of undertaking outdoor, hands-on work
Be available for the duration of the seasonal position
Be willing to work versatile schedule when required during busy periods
Hold a current driver's licence
