At Hays, we are currently partnering with a well-established organisation based in Maroochydore to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for a 6-month temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced setting and support a high-performing team during a key period.

Your recent role
Process end-to-end payroll for a high-volume workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across each pay cycle
Manage all aspects of payroll from data entry through to final pay processing
Perform payroll reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve queries efficiently




Maintain accurate employee payroll records within internal systems
Respond to and resolve payroll enquiries in a professional and timely manner

What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 3 years' experience in high-volume payroll processing
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with Micropay and/or Humanforce (highly regarded)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
