We are looking for a motivated and organised Junior Administration Assistant to join our team and provide general administrative support across the business.
This is an entry-level prospect suited to someone who is reliable, eager to learn and enjoys keeping things organised. You’ll work closely with our Practice Administrator and Practice Manager and gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a professional accounting practice.
Key responsibilities include:
Answering and directing phone calls, enquiries, emails, and mail
Scanning and uploading documents
Maintaining organised electronic filing systems and ensuring client documents are stored correctly
Preparing documents and files for client meetings
Assistance with the tax lodgement program
Assisting the team with general administrative tasks
Skills and experience:
Enthusiastic, motivated, and can-do attitude
A team player with the ability to work efficiently and co-operatively in a small, friendly team workplace
High level of attention to detail and accuracy of paperwork and processes
Communicate professionally and confidently
Confidently use Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Previous experience in Xero or other similar accounting/business software would be an advantage, training on the software will be provided and ongoing.
This is a part time position, and the remuneration package will be based on the Clerks - Private Sector Award.
