About the role

Lead the maintenance of the Glen Waverley site, including plant and equipment, buildings, services and grounds. This role involves managing critical maintenance operations, preventative maintenance programs, and essential safety services while leading and developing a maintenance team.

Key responsibilities
Lead the maintenance of the Glen Waverley site, including plant and equipment, buildings, services and grounds
Assistance in the preparation of the annual maintenance operating and capital budget
Preparation,



improvement and control of Preventative Maintenance programs
Management and training of the team to provide the optimal breakdown prevention and repair skills
Maintenance and delivery of Essential Safety Services
Management of critical spares inventory
Selection and management of a variety of external contractors as needed and within budget

About you
Proven leadership experience in a Maintenance and Facilities Management role
Understanding of business practices, including Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Systems
Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
Valuable communicator and ability to manage and work with multifunctional teams in the manufacturing process
Ability to be cutting-edge, and to identify, analyse and solve problems
Experience in project management
Working knowledge of software based Preventive Maintenance and Asset management programs
Solid verbal and written skills
Effective leadership and management of teams
High level of safety awareness and focus
