Parks & Gardens Labourers | Multiple Positions Available

Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour + super, depending on experience and qualifications

Location: Sydney

We are currently recruiting Parks & Gardens Labourers / Crew Members for our Local Government client.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates with experience in parks and gardens, horticulture, landscaping or similar outdoor environments. Certificate III in Horticulture is highly regarded; however, experienced candidates without formal qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

The role will involve working as part of a team to maintain parks, gardens and open spaces to a high standard for the local community across Sydney.

What you'll be doing
General parks and gardens maintenance
Mowing, edging and whipper snipping
Weeding and garden maintenance
Operating mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and other small plant
General labouring and minor works
Driving work vehicles where appropriately licensed
Using mobile devices to receive and record daily work
Completing daily checks and following secure work procedures





What we're looking for
Previous parks & gardens, horticulture, landscaping or similar experience
Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience highly regarded
Current C Class Driver's Licence – essential
MR/HR Licence – highly regarded
Experience using parks equipment and small plant
Physically fit and capable of undertaking outdoor labouring duties
Comfortable using mobile devices such as iPads
Reliable, safety focused and a valuable team player

Pre-employment requirements
