About the role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Line Setter / Leading Hand to join our Liquids Department. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with strong production line setup experience, proven leadership capability, and a commitment to safety, quality and team performance. In this role, you will support the Department Supervisor with the day-to-day running of production while helping drive efficient line performance and team productivity.

Key responsibilities
Support the Liquids Department Supervisor in the day-to-day coordination of production activities.
Set up, adjust and monitor bottle and tube filling equipment, along with labelling machinery, to maintain effective and accurate line performance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist in reducing downtime and production interruptions.
Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished goods and production stock as required.
Provide guidance, supervision and on-the-job support to production staff to maintain productivity and protected work practices.
Assist with line changeovers, start-ups, shut-downs and cleaning activities.
Ensure all production, quality and safety procedures are followed consistently.
Communicate effectively with the supervisor and wider team regarding production priorities,



issues and shift performance.

About you
A current forklift licence.
Previous experience as a line setter, leading hand or in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Demonstrated experience with bottle filling and labelling equipment is essential; tube filling experience will be highly regarded.
Proven ability to guide staff, delegate tasks and support team performance.
Robust problem-solving skills and sound mechanical aptitude.
A good understanding of workplace safety, quality standards and production procedures.
A reliable, organised approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
