We're looking for a Mechanical & Piping Designer to join Agilitus and support the delivery of mining, minerals processing and industrial projects across Australia. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to the development of cutting-edge mechanical and piping design solutions from concept through to construction and commissioning, while collaborating with experienced engineers, designers and project stakeholders.

The Opportunity

As a Mechanical & Piping Designer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality design outcomes that are protected, practical and technically compliant. You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle while working on a diverse range of challenging projects in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Developing 3D models, design drawings, equipment layouts and piping deliverables.
Supporting projects through concept, detailed design, construction and commissioning phases.
Coordinating with mechanical, process, structural and electrical disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
Participating in design reviews, constructability assessments and occasional site-based activities.

What you'll need
Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Design and Drafting, an applicable drafting traineeship, or similar qualification.




Relevant experience in mechanical and piping design within mining, minerals processing, infrastructure or heavy industry projects.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs;, vendor information and technical documentation.
Knowledge of applicable mechanical and piping design standards, codes and guidelines.
