Fine Concepts is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team and play a key role in the continued growth of our commercial fit-out and custom joinery business.

Based in Adelaide, Fine Concepts delivers commercial fit-out projects across South Australia and nationally, supported by our own in-house joinery manufacturing facility.

This is a senior, hands-on position suited to an accomplished estimator who has extensive experience within the commercial construction, fit-out and/or joinery industry and is ready to take ownership of an estimating department.

As our Estimating Manager, you will oversee the estimating function while remaining actively involved in the preparation and submission of tenders.

Your responsibilities will include
Leading and mentoring our estimating team
Managing the tender pipeline, priorities and submission deadlines
Preparing detailed estimates for commercial fit-out and custom joinery projects
Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Completing detailed quantity take-offs and cost plans




Preparing and issuing subcontractor and supplier RFQs
Analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
Developing accurate labour, material, joinery and subcontract trade costs
Identifying scope gaps, project risks and commercial prospects
Preparing tender qualifications, exclusions and clarifications
Reviewing estimates prepared by other members of the team prior to submission
Working closely with the Director on tender strategy, pricing and commercial decisions
Maintaining and developing solid relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Supporting the continued development and growth of the estimating team.
