About the Role

You will deliver engaging and communicative General English classes to international students from a range of backgrounds and proficiency levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an ELICOS trainer, your responsibilities will include:
Teach General English classes aligned with the ELICOS curriculum.
Plan and deliver learner-centred lessons based on student needs.
Conduct an assessment to evaluate students' needs and progress
Monitor students' attendance and progression
Provide feedback on students' progress
Assess and monitor student progress
Participate in curriculum review and career development activities

Skills and Experience ELICOS trainers must have the following -
TESOL qualification with at least 100 contact hours + supervised practicum
or A bachelor's degree in education with a TESOL major or equivalent
Teaching qualification with TESOL method with a Graduate Diploma in Education with TESOL
Must have appropriate TESOL teaching experience or willing to be formally mentored by a senior staff member with this experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
