Electrical Capability Coordinator – ITS & Electrical

Gold Coast | 1-Year Contract | AO5 | 36.25 Hours/Week

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join a technical capability team in a role focused on training, competency and technical development across electrical, ITS and civil electrical disciplines.

This is a excellent prospect for an experienced electrical professional looking to move into a role focused on technical capability, training, coaching and workforce development.

What you'll be doing
Coordinate technical training and competency activities that support safe electrical, ITS and civil electrical work
Maintain training plans, competency records, learning resources and assessment evidence
Support the delivery of civil electrical training, including knowledge transfer and practical learning
Provide coaching, technical guidance and competency support to apprentices, trainees, electrical workers, project managers and supervisors
Contribute to continuous improvement across training schedules, competency pathways, technical guidance and succession planning

What you'll need




Electrical Mechanic with a current and valid Queensland Electrical Work Licence – essential
Current C Class Driver Licence
Experience working within electrical construction, maintenance or civil electrical environments
Experience delivering electrical safety training or supporting technical competency programs
Robust understanding of electrical safety and quality requirements

Desirable
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a current equivalent qualification
Qualifications or experience in workplace health and safety, auditing or incident investigation
Experience conducting electrical safety and quality audits
Experience supporting formal workplace investigations

Salary: AO5, with pay point dependent on experience and suitability

Hours: 7.25 hours per day | 36.25 hours per week

Gold Coast based – this is a non-negotiable requirement.
