About the role

Sunland Support is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support children in a centre-based program in Lindfield.

Regular weekday afternoon shifts from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm and weekend shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm are available.

Key responsibilities
Supporting children to participate in centre-based group activities
Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication supervision
Supporting children to access community resources, transport and social activities




Monitoring and documenting children’s progress and reporting any concerns or changes to the office

About you
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Minimum three years of relevant disability support experience in Australia
Minimum one year of experience supporting children in Australia
Certificate in Disability, Community Services or Aged Care, or an equivalent or higher qualification
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Manual Handling competency completed within the past 12 months
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current National Police Check

Previous experience supporting children in a centre-based setting is highly desirable.
