We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Yarra Valley Dental at Yarra Glen. This is a part time prospect for an individual who is reliable and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of our dental practice. Currently required to cover Fridays and Saturdays.

What you'll be doing
Assisting dentists with patient care, including chairside support, sterilisation of instruments, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Handling some administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries, and managing patient records
Facilitating effective communication between patients, dentists, and other team members
Maintaining a high standard of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients
Undertaking additional duties as required to contribute to the overall success of the practice such as general cleaning and maintenance of equipment
be familiar with D4W practice software and doing basics at reception

What we're looking for




Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred
Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
A positive, friendly, and qualified demeanour
Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems, training will be provided with our system
A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
