We’re looking for a 3D Artist to help build the world of Untethered, a space-station survival sandbox built in Unity coming soon to Steam Early Access.
This is a remote role requiring the candidate to be based in Victoria, Australia. The position can be structured either as a contract role or fixed-term part time employment, depending on your preference.
What will you do?
Model complex space station equipment, consoles, and structures, wreckage, and space suits.
Texturing and optimising existing 3D assets.
Animation, particularly first person hand/equipment animations.
What are we looking for?
Proficiency in Blender is preferred.
A high attention for detail and an interest in industrial/aerospace engineering.
A formal degree or certification isn’t required - demonstrated experience is more valued.
At this stage,
applicants must reside in Victoria, Australia.
Other valued skills:
Texture creation with software such as Substance Painter, Inkscape, or Photoshop.
Experience in Unity and source control (git) for asset integration.
Python for automation and tool creation.
Being Melbourne-based is highly valued, but not essential.
