Project Accountant

Western Sydney | Immediate Start

We are currently partnering Project Accountant to join a growing organisation operating across infrastructure, engineering and renewable energy projects.

Working closely with the CFO, you will take ownership of project and entity accounting, financial reporting, fixed assets, statutory compliance and month-end processes across the business's JV projects and entities.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for multiple entities.
Manage project accounting, cost tracking, reconciliations and funding activities.
Own month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules and capital works projects.
Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax and other statutory obligations.
Support annual audits and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
Act as a key finance contact for internal stakeholders, external advisers, banks and project partners.




Drive process improvements across reporting, systems and financial controls.
Provide administration and support for finance-related systems and expense management platforms.

About You
CA/CPA qualified.
SAP experience is highly desirable
Experience within project, infrastructure, construction, engineering, manufacturing or related industries.
Strong experience managing month-end reporting and statutory compliance.
Solid fixed asset accounting experience.
Confident communicator with the ability to work directly with senior stakeholders and external parties.
