About the company/role:
We are currently recruiting for a Food Laboratory Technician to work with an iconic Australian-owned juice manufacturer based in the Western Suburbs. It is a casual, full time position that follows a rotating shift pattern across day shift, afternoon shift and night shift. This role is ideal for a Food Science graduate who is eager to gain experience with a leading beverage manufacturer.

Duties:
Chemical and microbial analysis of beverage samples
Interpreting results and positively releasing batches
Sensory evaluation of beverage samples
Calibration of laboratory equipment
Ensure highest levels of HACCP and GMP
Following and improving cleaning & sanitation programs

Skills & Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline
Experience in a food/beverage laboratory setting is highly regarded
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is beneficial
Good understanding of quality standards and HACCP
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong computer skills, MS Word/Excel
Excellent eye for detail and accuracy skills
