We have an exciting prospect for hardworking and outgoing Yard Persons to join our team in Cardiff, Newcastle. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will be responsible for preparing customer orders, and supporting goods outwards/inwards section of our yard. The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
Prepare by picking, wrapping, and strapping of customer orders for pick up/delivery.
Being competent with picking and packing of orders in a physically demanding workplace.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Maintain general housekeeping practices across the shed and work areas.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.



The ideal candidate must also:
Be available to work rotating shifts Monday - Friday 8:54am - 5:00pm to 9:54pm – 6:00pm
Be available to work Saturdays 6:00am – 12:00pm when required.
Have knowledge of Timber products (highly desirable but not necessary - training provided).
Have robust work ethic and reliable.
Have a safety conscience.
