About the role

Run the machine shop reporting directly to the Managing Director and Operations Manager. You will operate CNC machines and Edgebanders (Flat / Bevel), ensuring machines are well maintained and serviced. The role involves keeping up with KPIs and quality control, accepting deliveries, maintaining stock while keeping the machine shop lean and clean, and communicating in a calm and transparent manner with a positive can-do attitude.

Key responsibilities
Run CNC machines and Edgebanders (Flat / Bevel)
Ensure machines are well looked after and serviced
Keep up with KPIs and quality control
Accept deliveries
Keep stock up to date while maintaining a lean and clean machine shop
Communicate in a calm and explicit manner with a positive can-do attitude

About you
Prior experience in a machine shop required
Experience with Cabinet Vision Nestings / Woodtech Machinery highly regarded
Forklift ticket preferred or willing to obtain license
High performing candidate that hits the ground running
Wants the job done right the first time around
