About the role
This hands-on role is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and water infrastructure across a diverse rural property that includes residential housing, staff accommodation, workshops, commercial facilities, agricultural & equine operations and recreational amenities. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of essential plumbing and water services across the property.
Key responsibilities
Maintenance, repair and installation of plumbing systems across residential, commercial and operational facilities.
Diagnosing and rectifying plumbing faults, leaks, blockages and water supply issues.
Maintaining hot water systems, pumps, water tanks and pressure systems.
Servicing and repairing sewerage and wastewater treatment systems.
Monitoring and maintaining water reticulation infrastructure throughout the property.
Assisting with irrigation and water management systems where required.
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
Installing and maintaining drainage systems, pipework and associated fittings.
Coordinating plumbing repairs and upgrades for staff housing and accommodation facilities.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting on infrastructure condition.
About you
Current Plumbing & Gas Licences (essential).
Demonstrated experience in maintenance plumbing and gas fitting, preferably across residential, commercial or rural environments.
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience with pumps, water systems, drainage, sewerage and hot water systems.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Irrigation system experience.
A commitment to workplace health and safety.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive and reliable work ethic.
A current Driver's Licence (essential).
