What you will be doing




Running your own file load across property settlements, parenting matters, de facto disputes and divorce
Advising on consent orders, financial disclosure and binding financial agreements
Drafting affidavits, applications and correspondence that stand up in court
Appearing at mediations, settlement conferences and directions hearings, with Counsel briefed on the bigger matters
Building the client relationships and referral networks that become repeat work

What you will bring
Admission to practise in Queensland with a current practising certificate
3+ years' post-admission experience with a genuine family law focus
Confidence running matters under the Family Law Act with limited supervision
Sharp drafting, sound judgment and transparent, human communication
Empathy and resilience, because family law clients are people first
