We are looking for a reliable farmhand to join our family owned mixed cropping and cattle operation.

This is a hands-on role with a valuable mix of cattle work, cropping and general farm duties. We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is willing to have a go and takes pride in getting the job done properly.

The role The work will vary throughout the year and will include:
Day-to-day care and management of cattle
Feeding and watering livestock
Cattle yard work and handling
Checking stock and monitoring animal health
Tractor and machinery operation
Assisting with seeding, spraying, spreading and harvest
Property maintenance - fencing and general paddock weed control and maintenance
Maintaining yards, sheds, troughs and farm infrastructure
General machinery maintenance and repairs
Loading and moving livestock, grain and other farm materials
General farm duties as required

About you

We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable, honest and willing to work hard
Enjoys working outdoors and isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty




Is comfortable working around cattle
Has a practical approach and is willing to learn
Can work well on their own and as part of a small team
Takes care with machinery and equipment
Is physically fit and able to handle the demands of farm work

Previous experience in cropping, cattle or general farm work would be an advantage, as would experience operating tractors and other farm machinery. However, we are happy to consider someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn.

A current driver's licence is preferred.
