Portable Fire Technician / Tester – Entry Level

About the role

Rassco Fire is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Portable Fire Technician / Tester to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the fire protection industry. Previous fire industry experience is not essential but will be an advantage.

What you'll be doing
Conducting scheduled inspections, testing and servicing of portable fire equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire blankets and hose reels
Identifying and reporting defects and required repairs
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards
Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
Assisting with the installation and replacement of fire equipment
Providing professional and friendly service to clients

What we're looking for
A willingness to learn and develop within the fire protection industry
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Valuable communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail




Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Sydney metropolitan area
Must be an Australian citizen with unrestricted work rights
