Accounts Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our agile team in Western Sydney, NSW. As a full-time Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the organisation's financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations.

What you'll be doing
Accounts payable and receivable processing
Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Invoicing and payment follow-ups
Payroll support (desirable)
Assisting with month-end reporting
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB or similar)
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in the education or RTO sector (highly regarded but not essential)
