Our client, located approximately 35 minutes outside of Bendigo, is looking for a reliable and hardworking HC Driver with asphalt experience to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and productive transportation of materials, equipment and plant to and from work sites, while also assisting the asphalt crew with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate HC vehicles to transport asphalt, materials, plant and equipment to and from work sites.
Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as required.
Support the asphalt crew with general labouring and road construction duties.
Assist with asphalt laying and other site activities when required.
Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
Follow all site safety procedures and participate in pre-start meetings.
Complete required driving and vehicle records accurately.
Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team.
Report incidents,



hazards and near misses immediately.
Assist with the secure setup and pack-up of work areas.
Be prepared to work flexible hours, including early starts, weekends and at remote locations.

Requirements:
Current HC Driver's Licence (Essential)
Construction Industry White Card (Essential)
Previous asphalt, road construction or civil construction experience (Essential)
Previous experience operating HC vehicles in a construction or similar environment.
Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and remote locations.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively.
Willingness to obtain additional tickets such as Skid Steer, Loader and Roller.
HR/MC licence (Desirable)
Workzone Traffic Management certificate (Desirable)
Experience operating plant and equipment (Desirable)
