About the role

We’re looking for a reliable and physically capable warehouse team member to join our furniture distribution warehouse in Oakleigh.

This is a hands-on role involving the picking, packing and movement of flat-packed furniture cartons. Some cartons are heavy, so you must be comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.

You’ll be joining a small, friendly team and will often be expected to manage your tasks independently. Reliability, attention to detail and a valuable work ethic are essential.

What you’ll be doing
Picking and packing furniture orders
Lifting and moving furniture cartons
Stacking and organising cartons on pallets
Labelling orders for courier delivery or customer collection
Checking orders for accuracy before dispatch
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and secure
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

What we’re looking for
Reliable, punctual and available five days per week




Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy cartons
Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
A rapid learner with a positive, hands-on attitude
Good attention to detail
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a small team
Previous warehouse, pick-packing or manual-handling experience is preferred

A forklift licence is helpful but not required.

Students, backpackers and Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply, provided you can commit to the full Monday-to-Friday roster.

Employment details
Pay: $33.05 per hour + super
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm
Employment type: Casual with consistent full-time weekday hours
Location: Oakleigh, approximately a 10-minute walk from Huntingdale Station
Start date: Immediate

Pay: $33.00 – $34.00 per hour
