Chicken Hanger / Poultry Process Worker

Night Shift | 9:00pm – 7:00am | $50.88 per hour

APG Workforce is currently seeking experienced Chicken Hangers / Poultry Process Workers to join a busy poultry processing facility on the night shift.

This is a highly physical and fast-paced role suited to candidates with previous experience in chicken hanging, poultry processing, food manufacturing or production environments. About the Role

As a Chicken Hanger, your duties will include:
Hanging chickens on a fast-moving production line
Performing repetitive manual handling tasks
Working in a fast-paced poultry processing environment
Standing for extended periods
Handling poultry products safely and efficiently
Following strict food safety and hygiene procedures
Following all workplace health and safety requirements
Working as part of a productive team
Assisting with general production duties when required

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:




Previous chicken hanging or poultry processing experience – essential
Experience in food manufacturing, production or processing
Ability to perform highly physical and repetitive work
Positive physical fitness and manual handling ability
Ability to work at a fast pace for extended periods
Solid reliability and attendance
Good understanding of workplace health and safety
Full Australian work rights
Availability for overtime when required
Reliable transport is highly desirable
