DCL Contracting Group are currently seeking to recruit qualified and experienced FORMWORK CARPENTERS / CONCRETERS to join the team on a full-time basis.

Most of the work is carried out throughout the Perth region.

Responsibilities -
Interpreting drawings and specifications to establish installation procedures and materials required.
General carpentry including cutting, assembling, joining timber and concrete formwork.
Erecting, propping, and securing formwork.
Following all code requirements for Australian building standards.
Select and evaluate materials for defects.
Liaising with project managers, team members, trades, and suppliers.
Participating in workplace training programs as required.
Participating in setting up new projects: mould assembly and formwork.
Establishing production forecast with Precast Manager and project team.
Set up and prepare construction sites for concrete pouring, including setting up forms and ensuring proper alignment.
Mix, pour,



and spread concrete using various tools and equipment, ensuring the correct consistency and quality.
Relevant tickets and experience required for operating roles.

Skills and abilities -
High level of competency in measuring, cutting, and installing frames and structures.
Proficient and the protected use of hand and power tools with measuring instruments is essential.
Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
Robust attention to detail.
In-depth understanding of fabrication drawings.
Understanding of specifications and tolerances.
Organizational skills.
Team player with a cooperative attitude.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification / tickets to job role.

Work Experience

Ideally minimum of 3 years’ experience in the commercial construction, residential or facilities maintenance field.
