About You
As aTimber and Construction Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. Our Technologies and VET Department is a high-performing faculty, regularly achieving outstanding results in Design and Technology, Industrial Technology; Timber and Multimedia, and Food Technology. With updated machinery and workshops, and FESTOOL, laser-cutter, 3D printers and state of the art Hospitality and Construction facilities.You'll bring:
a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
expertise in Technologies; Timber,
with additional teaching area in Construction (willingness to train) advantageous
demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practices
ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
a commitment to academic excellence
ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
ability to integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff
demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team.
