ABOUT THE ROLE
HillSide Christian College is seeking a Kindergarten/Pre-Primary Teacher for Term 1, **** for one school term. This is a fixed-term, 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) position to cover Long Service Leave. The position will be in either Kindergarten or Pre-Primary, so the successful applicant must be prepared and appropriately trained to teach in either setting.
Salary is based on the College's Teacher Pay Scale and negotiable on qualifications and experience. A copy of the salary scale,Code of Conduct, and Statement of Faith are available upon request to the email contact provided in this advert.
KEY EXPECTATIONS
Successful applicants will be practising evangelical, protestant Christians,
who are able to demonstrate and work within the College's Christian framework. All teachers will need to accept the College'sCode of Conduct(including Statement of Faith) and meet all compliance requirements. All teachers will be expected to be able to teach from a Christian worldview.

Demonstrated reflective practice, ongoing professional growth and contribution to whole-school improvement
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community
Comprehensive knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and early years frameworks, with the ability to design differentiated learning
Demonstrated use of data and evidence-based, high impact teaching strategies
Demonstrated ability to support students with diverse learning, social and cultural needs while promoting safety and wellbeing
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
