This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic, strategic and relational leader to have a lasting impact within a school community in fulfilling its mission statement of Academic Excellence, Character Development, and authentic care within an Anglican Christian foundation.
We are seeking a leader who can:
• Provide visionary leadership for a vibrant boarding community serving students from Year 3 to Year 12 across two campuses.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of boarding professionals in a complex 24/7 residential environment.
• Create an environment where every boarder can learn, grow, belong and flourish academically, socially, emotionally and personally.
About the Role
The Director of Boarding provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the School's boarding program across two campuses.
Boarding is a defining feature of the School and plays a critical role within our broader commitment to developing young people through our three educational distinctives of Academic Excellence, Character Development and Christian Community. As a key component of the Community distinctive, the boarding program seeks to provide a safe, nurturing and enriching residential environment in which students can thrive.
Reporting ultimately to the Headmaster, with delegated accountability through the Deputy Headmaster, the Director of Boarding works closely with the Deputy Heads of (Students & Community) at each campus to ensure alignment between boarding operations, student wellbeing and the wider life of the School.
This is a significant leadership position responsible for the oversight of boarding operations for approximately 38 weeks each year in a continuous 24-hour, seven-day-a-week environment. To deliver on this expectation the Director of Boarding is required to live onsite at North Parramatta, in School provided residential family accommodation.

About you
You are an accomplished educational leader who understands both the opportunities and complexities of contemporary boarding environments.
The successful candidate will bring:
• A deep knowledge and understanding of Anglican education and Christian formation.
• Teaching qualifications and registration (or eligibility for registration) appropriate to the relevant jurisdiction.
• Significant leadership experience within a boarding environment of comparable size, scale and complexity.
• Demonstrated success leading diverse teams in residential education settings.
• A deep commitment to student wellbeing, pastoral care and child safeguarding.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• The ability to build strong partnerships with students, families, staff and the wider community.
• Highly developed organisational and operational management skills.
• Experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight.
• A passion for creating environments that enable young people to learn, grow, develop independence and achieve their full potential.
