Position Profile and Role
Join Fiona Stanley Hospital as a Supervisor MIT, where you will lead our dedicated team and ensure our medical imaging services run at peak efficiency.
This is a full-time position available on either a permanent or fixed-term basis.
Fixed-term appointments come with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.
In this role, you will ensure our medical imaging service is efficiently and effectively supported by the PACS and RIS systems through the Systems Analyst Administration.
This includes repairing, analysing, validating, uploading, and extracting medical imaging data and information from medical imaging systems and making recommendations to drive performance outcomes and improved business strategy.
Alongside your technical expertise, you will provide operational coordination, professional supervision, and clinical leadership.
Your responsibilities will include implementing and evaluating policies, practices, protocols, and quality programs related to the PACS and RIS systems.
You will evaluate and advise on emerging techniques and equipment with a view to implementation into the department.
The role is vital in a safe environment for patients and staff.

These include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.
Adjacent to the hospital, the FSH Medihotel operates within the Aegis Health Building and provides an innovative extension of FSH healthcare services, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
