Senior Legal Counsel | Funds Management | Sydney
We are partnering with a leading Australian financial services and investment management business on aSenior Legal Counselopportunity within its established funds legal team.
This is a senior, funds-focused role supporting a sophisticated investment management platform acrossretail and wholesale funds, with exposure to a broad range of fund structures, products and investment strategies.
The role will include:
Advising on the establishment, operation and restructuring of funds
Reviewing and preparing fund, product and disclosure documentation
Advising on investment management arrangements, distribution and regulatory matters
Supporting new fund and product launches
Partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the investment management business




Providing practical and commercially focused advice across the funds platform
About you:
We are looking for a lawyer around the8–10 PQElevel with strong funds management experience gained within private practice, an investment manager or another financial services organisation.
Experience acrossretail fundswill be particularly relevant, while exposure toprivate creditwould also be highly regarded.
This is an excellent prospect for an experienced funds lawyer looking to join a high-quality in-house legal team, remain close to sophisticated technical funds work and take on greater ownership and autonomy.
