Position: Electrical Appliance Technician

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Technician to join their team servicing customers across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
n
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
n
n
Installation, servicing and maintenance of residential and commercial AC units
n
Perform repairs and maintenance on domestic appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens and other electrical appliances
n
Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify faults and determine the most cost-effective solutions
n
Install new AC systems and appliances in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant building codes
n
Test repaired and newly installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety
n




Maintain detailed service records and provide customers with clear explanations of work completed and recommendations for preventative maintenance
n
Respond promptly to service calls and manage time efficiently to meet scheduled appointments
n
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and work practices relevant to electrical and mechanical systems
n
Build and maintain positive customer relationships through skilled conduct and quality workmanship
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
AQF Certificate III, Certificate IV or higher in relevant field
n
At least 12 months of hands-on experience as an Electrical Appliance Technician
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Current White Card
n
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
