About The Role
n
Zenith Energy has opportunities for a Power Station Operator Maintainer (PSOM), Electrical or Mechanical, to join our operations division. The full-time, permanent, Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) roles have a 2/2-week even-time roster.
n
Reporting to the Hybrid Power Station Manager, the PSOM is a hands-on operational and maintenance role.
n
What You Will Be Doing
n
n
Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on the power generation
n
Operate and maintain reciprocating engines, control systems, and auxiliary plant.
n
Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairs.
n
Verify quality of work and compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
n
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
n
Support safe systems of work
n
Raise and maintain work orders and purchase requests in the ERP system.
n
Attend after-hours callouts while on site for breakdowns and urgent faults.
n

Experience
n
What We Are Looking For
n
n
Minimum 3 - 5 years post-trade experience.
n
Extensive experience in maintenance, fault diagnosis, and operational support across power generation, heavy industry, or similar complex systems.
n
Extensive experience performing HV Switching operations (Electricians)
n
n
Skills
n
n




Sound understanding of WHS compliance
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Ability to work independently in remote environments.
n
Adept in problem-solving issues and implementing solutions
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP systems (e.g. Pronto, Ellipse, SAP).
n
n
Qualifications/ Certifications/ Licenses
n
n
Recognised trade qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical discipline.
n
WA Electrical license for electrical roles.
n
Open class (not automatic restricted) WA driver's license.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Nationally accredited EWP license
n
Supervised Gas worker training
n
Fly-in and fly-out experience
