We're partnering with a well‐established, national organisation within the logistics and services sector to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. Based at a modern Eagle Farm head office, this is a hands‐on leadership role overseeing a high‐performing AP function supporting a complex, fast‐moving operation.

Job Description
n
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for:
n
n
Leading and coaching the accounts payable team
n
Overseeing day‐to‐day AP activities across weekly and monthly payment cycles
n
Ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier, contractor and third‐party payments
n
Maintaining integrity of supplier data and oversee routine balance reconciliations
n
Monitoring compliance with internal policies, approval frameworks and audit standards
n
Managing period‐end activities including operational accruals
n
Acting as the go‐to subject matter expert for AP systems, driving efficiency and best practice
n
Building strong working relationships across Finance, Operations and Procurement
n
Serving as an escalation point for complex or sensitive supplier queries
n
Delivering responsive,



professional service aligned with agreed service standards
n
Producing regular AP performance reports and operational metrics
n
Contributing to system upgrades, workflow improvements and finance projects
n
Participating in continuous improvement forums and cross‐functional initiatives
n
n
The Successful Applicant
n
The successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:
n
n
Proven experience leading Accounts Payable teams in a high‐volume environment
n
Confident people leader with strong coaching and engagement skills
n
Exceptionally detail‐oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and controls
n
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
n
Strong communicator capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels
n
Systems‐savvy with solid Microsoft Office skills and an improvement mindset
n
Formal qualification in Finance or Accounting (highly desirable)
n
