A market leading fit-out/refurbishment contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking a Site Manager to join their growing business.
n
Projects across high end residential and commercial remediation projects from $500k - $10m+, experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar will be an advantage.
n
As the Site Manager, you'll be running projects as the no.1 on site and would be reporting into a Project Manager. You'll be expected to manage quality, ensure that programme is being delivered to time and to the correct cost, you'll be managing all logistics and site programme.
n
Candidates need to have experience successfully delivering projects of this magnitude from inception to completion. Projects they work on are generally Industrial or high end residential.
n
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
n
n
Conduct onsite HSE and quality inductions with all onsite staff / subcontractors
n
Review and manage key project issues
n
Liaise with statutory bodies ensuring all relevant notifications are made
n
Ensure site compound and amenities are established and maintained
n
Organise all site inspections with clients, authorities and consultants
n
Assist Senior Project Manager with preparing scopes of work
n
Understand head and subcontractor contracts, especially in relation to timeframes
n
Produce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing works
n
n
Qualifications and Requirements:
n
n
Trade or building related Qualification
n
Minimum 5 to 10yrs years' experience in site supervision of construction projects including planning, programming and management of onsite staff / subcontractors
n
Construction Safety Induction (White) card
n
Senior First Aid Certificate
n
Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sites
n
Proven ability to lead and motivate subcontractors
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
n
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
n
n
