About the Role

CPBS is seeking a full time or part-time Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our established Hobart team based in New Town. Working alongside a highly experienced clinical team, you'll deliver high-quality behaviour support services, mentor practitioners, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for children, adults and their support networks across Tasmania.

What you'll do
n
n
Complete introductory and intermediate training in Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS)
n
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
n
Provide behaviour support services to individuals and care teams in a variety of settings
n
Provide clinical support and training to practitioners, support workers and caregivers
n
Collaborate with NDIS participants, families, allied health professionals and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
n
Maintain accurate documentation and complete report writing in line with legislative requirements
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
A bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
n
An NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
n
Demonstrated experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist
n
Strong report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
n
A passion for improving outcomes for the people and families we support
n
