$60–$70/hr Subject to Experience + Super + OT + $30 Daily Travel Allowance

TRS Resourcing is seeking two experienced Prime Mover / Truck & Trailer Mechanics for workshop-based positions with one of our established clients in Sydney.
n
These positions will suit trade-qualified mechanics with strong experience working on heavy vehicle and trailer running gear, particularly suspension, braking systems, servicing and component rebuilds.
n
This is predominantly workshop-based work on commercial heavy vehicle equipment, with ongoing hours and overtime opportunities available.
n
The Role Your Responsibilities Will Include
n
n
Servicing and repairing heavy vehicle and trailer equipment
n
Suspension repairs and rebuilds
n
Brake repairs and rebuilds
n
Diagnosing mechanical faults
n
Repair and replacement of running gear components
n
Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
n
Inspecting equipment and identifying required repairs
n
Completing workshop documentation and job updates
n
Working independently and as part of an experienced trades team
n
n
Pay & Conditions
n

$60–$70 per hour, subject to experience + Super
n




Overtime available
n
$30 per day travel allowance
n
Full-time hours

What We're Looking For Successful applicants will ideally have:
n
n
Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent Mechanical Trade qualification
n
Previous truck and/or trailer maintenance experience
n
Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle suspension and braking systems
n
Experience with component repairs and rebuilds
n
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
Ability to work unsupervised
n
Own tools
n
Basic computer skills for workshop job updates
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Ability to provide two recent employer references
n
n
A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
n
