Job Description
Keep critical equipment running. Keep customers confident.
n
Soniclean® is looking for a hands-on Service Technician (Electronics) to join our team in Adelaide. You'll be the person clinics and facilities trust to keep their ultrasonic cleaning systems running safely, reliably, and to spec — from first installation through years of ongoing service.
n
If you're the kind of technician who can trace a fault through an electronic control system, explain it clearly to a customer who isn't technical, and drive to the next job with the right parts already in the van — we want to talk to you. You are customer focused, take pride in getting things right, and enjoy being part of a small, supportive team.
n
What you'll do
n
n
Install, commission, and service Soniclean® ultrasonic cleaning systems at customer sites across the region
n
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently
n
Diagnose electronic and mechanical faults, and complete repairs and calibrations in line with technical standards and regulatory requirements
n
Conduct field service visits, document your work, and maintain accurate service records
n
Give customers clear, practical guidance on how to operate and care for their equipment
n
Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and support long‐term product reliability
n
n
What you bring
n
n
5+ years' experience as an Electronics Technician or similar service role
n
Strong maintenance and repair skills, ideally with electro‐mechanical or industrial equipment
n
Advanced troubleshooting ability across electronic control systems, sensors, and mechanical components
n
Field service experience — in office diagnostics, installation, and commissioning in clinical or technical environments
n
Clear communication and customer service skills; comfortable managing expectations and training end users
n
A certificate or diploma in electronics or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
n
Confidence reading technical drawings, service manuals, and schematics
n
A solid grasp of safety standards and regulatory requirements for equipment used in clinical or industrial settings
n
Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with basic computer applications for reporting
n
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
n
Full Australian working rights
