About The Role
n
This is a National HSE Manager role reporting to the Head of Safety & Compliance, responsible for driving Health, Safety and Environmental outcomes across a multi‐site, national operation.
n
You will partner closely with operational leaders to embed safety into day‐to‐day activities, ensuring consistency in systems and practices while maintaining compliance within an ISO‐accredited environment.
n
This is not a "sit behind your desk writing policies" health and safety role - It's a hands‐on role requiring regular site visits and solid engagement with stakeholders across all levels of the business.

Day to day you will
n
n
Partner with operational leaders to provide HSE support and guidance across sites
n
Complete ***** visits annually - prioritising higher risk sites, with quarterly interstate travel required
n
Drive consistent implementation of HSE systems, policies and procedures - and a safety culture throughout the business
n
Lead incident investigations and manage corrective actions
n
Support audit programs and ISO recertification activities
n
Monitor safety performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
n
Management of one director report - HSE Advisor
n
Support injury management and return-to-work processes
n
Build strong relationships across operational and leadership teams
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience in a National or multi‐site HSE leadership role
n
Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO standards (e.g. ISO *****)
n
Experience working in operational environments such as Security, Facilities Management, Transport, Logistics, Retail or similar
n
Ability to influence and partner with operational stakeholders
n
Experience managing incident investigations, audits, and risk frameworks
n
Confident engaging across all levels, including senior leadership
n
Resilient and comfortable operating in a fast‐paced, operational environment
n
Relevant qualification in WHS - Diploma or higher preferred
n
