Our client is a leading Sydney-based property development and construction group delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use rent projects that shape great urban communities.
n
With an expanding pipeline across NSW, they are seeking a driven and capable Project Engineer to join its growing construction team. This role offers the chance to work on a landmark $300m+ mixed use and residential mid to high-rise development while building strong technical, site and stakeholder management experience.
n
Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily delivery of high quality and on-time construction projects, ensuring that the projects are completed to documented drawings, specifications and nominated timeframes.
n
You will initially be working on internals now that the structure is coming up.
n
Years of experience:
n
Ideally 2 – 3+ years as a Project Engineer
n
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
n
Project Delivery & Site Coordination
n
n
Assisting with the planning, coordination and execution of construction works
n
Managing subcontractors, suppliers and consultants on site
n
Monitoring construction programs, procurement schedules and project milestones
n
Reviewing construction drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation
n
Resolving technical issues and contributing to value engineering initiatives
n
n
Quality, Safety & Compliance
n
n
Overseeing quality control across site activities
n
Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and statutory requirements
n
Supporting site safety systems, inspections and reporting
n
n
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
n
n
Supporting project reporting, progress claims and cost tracking
n
Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
n
Assisting the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager with day-to-day project administration as required
n
n
Qualifications and Requirements:
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar
n
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Project Engineer in the successful delivery of new build projects
n
Experience in internal fit-out ideal
n
Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
n
Strong project financial reporting skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Well-developed interpersonal skills
n
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
n
n
